Weekly meetings for both groups offer a diverse perspective of the life of the church from Community hayrides and bonfires, Pumpkin Olympic games, Rock Band tournaments on the BIG screens in the sanctuary, Grocery Store Speed Scavenger Hunts for local food pantries, Extreme Bible Studies, Real-Life discussions on how faith impacts peer pressure, body image, relationships, and much more. Intrigued? Skeptical? Come check it out and be part of the journey! We try hard to role model the importance of one’s identity in Christ, serving and loving the world at large, understanding what this faith stuff is all about, and rejoicing in God’s creation through laughter, fellowship, and play. Our youth hit the ground running and we welcome all to be a part of the vibrant youth ministries here at EvUCC.

These groups have drawn 100 different youth from around the community through our doors.  As these programs continue, we shout "All are welcome to join us!"

The purpose of Rejoice with Puppets is to minister to teens and pre-teens by empowering them to share the gospel in churches and other institutions serving the needy within an hour's drive of Highland.

Students in grades 6-8 and adults are invited to come and develop their puppetry skills in everything from movement to voice to props.  Practices are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month from 6-7 pm in the Youth Room.  Please contact the church office if you would like to participate.
