The Confirmation program at
Evangelical UCC is a 2-year program for for 7th and 8th graders.
They meet on Wednesday evenings and at other times. The rite of Confirmation
takes place on Pentecost of the 8th grade year, following
completion of various requirements.
Our Confirmation
Ministry begins with a commissioning on Rally Day during the 9:30am service. We
also give NRSV
Student Bibles to all the 7th grade youth beginning their
confirmation journey. We expect that all participating
youth, their parents, and guides and leaders will join us for
this special service.
Acolyte training for 7th graders
will be offered. Participants will also be given an acolyte schedule
at this time.
