Throughout the year, the church runs a number of fun fellowship events that enable you and your family to connect with other people in the church and community.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast: This men’s group meets at the church on the second Saturday morning of each month at 8:00 a.m. Breakfast is provided and the cost is divided between those who attend.  Reservations are very important.  There is a different topic for discussion each month. You are welcome to attend.

Chicken Dinner: Held annually on a Sunday in October from 11:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Now in its 15th year, our chicken dinner involves everyone in the church, serving 1500 dinners to people from as far away as Missouri. Many members assist with this event.

Talents and Treasures Auction: Held annually on a Sunday in November. Church and community members donate a wide variety of items and services to be auctioned off. Sandwiches and soda are available for sale. Funds raised go to support special projects at EvUCC.

Christmas Caroling: Early in Advent, members of the congregation carol around Highland at nursing homes, the hospital and the homes of shut-ins. A light meal is served afterwards.

Lenten Soup Suppers: On Wednesday evenings during Lent, simple soup suppers are prepared by groups from the congregation. Following this casual fellowship time, a short worship service is celebrated in the Chapel.
